EY has been recognized as an industry leader in workforce management by ALM’s Intelligence Pacesetter Research Report, Workforce Management Services 2021-2022.

The industry analyst report reviewed 19 market leaders in four market segments, and cited EY People Advisory Services – which helps businesses around the world effectively harness their people strategy – as one of four “Pacesetters.” EY achieved high scores across five key criteria: business model, value proposition delivery, service delivery, client impact and brand eminence.

The report highlights the ability of EY to integrate capabilities that address health, safety and global mobility into its core services, which include organization and workforce transformation; change experience and learning; purpose, culture and leadership; HR transformation, systems and rewards; and integrated mobility.

EY is recognized for being a “constant innovator with a particularly strong capability for applying emerging technologies and intelligence automation to workforce management challenges.” The report also credits EY teams with using primary research and client experience to “identify shifts in behaviors and expectations with significant implications for both the employer and employee experience of work.”

Liz Fealy, EY Global People Advisory Services Deputy Leader and EY Global Workforce Advisory Leader, says:

“I am exceptionally proud of ALM’s recognition, not least because it comes during a transformational period in which EY teams have worked hard to help organizations navigate the workforce and workplace impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, more than ever, it is vital that organizations purposefully plan for hybrid work, equip their workforce with the flexibility, technology, learning and ways of working needed to unleash the potential of their people, and bring about the transformation of their workforces. ALM’s recognition highlights the strength of EY teams in bringing together innovation and technology to tackle the workforce challenges of the moment.”

The report also praises EY platforms for supporting employee change, learning and collaboration through three drivers of value creation: human-centric operating models, technology and innovation. It describes EY as having “a rich portfolio of workforce management assets and enablers” that can digitize workforce planning; define and assess capabilities; accelerate talent planning for organization design; measure culture and leadership; benchmark practices; analyze data for workforce segmentation; and manage change programs.

ALM defines workforce management as professional services designed to improve clients’ ability to source, develop, engage and retain the human resources required to deliver enterprise strategy. ALM’s review covered four segments of workforce management, including legal, insurance, technology and consulting, with consulting encompassing the breadth of multi-disciplinary services.
