Daniel is a corporate lawyer at Ernst & Young Law GmbH Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft. He serves as the Legal Innovation Champion for EY Europe West and is a member of the Young Leadership Board.
With a focus on private equity transactions, Daniel provides advice to national and international clients on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law matters. His experience has been recognized by German business newspaper Handelsblatt, which listed him as one of “Germany's Best Lawyers – Ones to watch in the areas of Private Equity, M&A and Corporate Law”.
Before joining EY Law, Daniel gained experience working at the Hamburg and Hong Kong offices of a large global law firm. He holds a PhD in European Capital Markets Law and is a lecturer at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, where he teaches Legal Technology and Innovation, and earned his degree from Bucerius Law School (Germany) and Stanford Law School (USA).
