Milen Raikov is Partner and Tax Markets Leader for EY Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo. He is also an Attorney-at-law a member of the Sofia Bar Association and CIPP/E. Milen is a Co-Chairman of the Tax Committee of AmCham in Bulgaria and board member of Automotive Cluster Bulgaria. Milen has started his career in 2002 in another professional services firm and moved to EY in.
Milen has over 15 years of professional experience in all fields of taxation, his key expertise is in the areas of EU law, indirect taxes, tax policy and controversy and incentives advisory. He has a vast experience with some of the biggest companies in the finance, pharmaceutical and automotive sectorindustry. Milen has lead a number of projects for the European Commission and public institutions in the region.
Milen is also the author of a number of publications in the tax field in international and local business media and has given lectures on tax and legal matters in both Bulgarian and regional universities.
Milen holds a masters degree in Law from Sofia University. Moreover, he is a CIPP-E (Certified Information Privacy Professional for EU/EEA with the International Association of Privacy Professionals). He is also a board member of the Automotive cluster in Bulgaria.
