VAT Treatment of Cross Border Transactions and International Trade 1/3

Outline

This is the first of three sessions focusing on VAT Treatment of Cross Border Transactions and International Trade. Cross border transactions and international trade give rise to new scenarios wherein a differentiating factor may trigger a change in the VAT treatment adopted in similar past transactions. This makes the adoption of the correct VAT treatment challenging, especially the VAT treatment being adopted by the involved parties in other countries and EU Member States.

The session will focus on:

  • VAT Basics of International Trade
  • Place of Supply Rules Goods (General Rules and Exceptions)
  • Place of Supply Rules Services (General Rules and Exceptions)

CPE Accreditation

3 hours of Core CPE will be awarded.

Webinar will be split in two sessions of 1.5 hr each (10:30am - 12:00am / Break / 2:00pm 3:30 pm).
