Timothy Tiah is the co-founder and executive director of Netccentric, the holding company for his and his business partner, Ming’s, various web ventures. He teamed up with Cheo Ming Shen to establish the blog advertising company Nuffnang in February 2007. Nuffnang’s rapid growth has led to a network currently comprising over 1,000,000 bloggers in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Philippines, China, UK and Thailand.

Netccentric now has over 170 full-time employees and houses several online businesses including Nom Nom Media that was founded as the exclusive digital reseller of Nuffnang, the social media advertising network, Churp Churp, the design house, Ripplewerkz and the popular mobile blogging app, Dayre.

Both Timothy and Ming were nominated by Businessweek as two of the 25 Best Young Asian entrepreneurs in 2007. Timothy was the youngest on the list of nominees at 23, and the only representative from Malaysia.

Timothy also went on to win several other prestigious awards, among them being the JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award in 2009 and more recently, Top 8 for Prestige’s Top 40 Under 40 and RHB Business Excellence Award.
