Weiyu Chen is the CEO and co-founder of Atzuche, an automobile sharing platform in China. 

In 2014, Weiyu started Atzuche, introducing the country to the concept of “car sharing” with the aim of encouraging China’s 300 million driving license holders to reduce the pressure on roads and the environment by sharing cars.  

Her pioneering spirit, expertise in strategic planning and marketing, and commitment to changing the way people live has meant Atzuche is already a success. Today, Atzuche covers 60 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing and Hangzhou. It boasts five million registered users, more than 500,000 registered cars for sharing and over ten thousand car models.  

Prior to establishing Atzuche, Weiyu attended an EMBA course at the ANTAI College of Economics & Management, and acted as an enterprise mentor at the School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, SJTU. Previously, in 2008-2012, she created a brand planning company to provide financial sector and automobile brands with complete planning and marketing schemes. Ms. Chen, graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree of Economics, and joined the Foreign-Funded Bank Management Trainee Plan after graduation. 

In 2016, Ms. Chen was awarded the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award issued by ANTAI College of Economics & Management and in 2017, she was chosen as one of “2016 Top Ten Internet Entrepreneurs in Shanghai.”
