EY announces Management promotions across the Channel Islands

EY has announced their latest management promotions across the Channel Islands.

Angus Hunter and Jenna Kok Shun have been promoted to Assurance Manager and Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy Manager respectively in the Guernsey office, while Febiejane Alinsunurin-Barcelona and Ramjae Masinsin have both been promoted to Assurance Manager in the Jersey office.

These promotions, along with the recently announced leadership promotions of Francis Malaspina and Stuart Gardner to Associate Partner, reflect EY’s continued growth in the Channel Islands and investment in its people.

Angus joined EY in Guernsey in 2015, during which time he has gained significant industry experience within Insurance, Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, predominantly within Private Equity; and London Stock Exchange listed alternative investment companies. He is well versed with both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and FRS 102.

Jenna initially trained and qualified with EY’s Mauritius Audit practice, before joining the Guernsey office in 2016 and transferring to EY’s Channel Islands Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy team. During this time, she has gained a broad range of solvent and insolvent restructuring experience in the Channel Islands and has contributed to the continued growth and success of EY’s Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy business in the Channel Islands. 

Febiejane is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She joined the Jersey office in 2018, having previously worked in EY’s Philippines office, during which time she also completed a secondment to EY’s Dublin office. She has a wealth of experience within the Financial Services industry, particularly within Wealth & Asset Management, focusing on Private Equity; and Real Estate, focusing on property funds and investment holding companies.  

Ramjae has been with EY since 2012, having originally worked in EY’s Philippines office, before moving to Jersey in 2017. He specialises in providing audit services to clients in the Financial Services industry, predominantly Wealth & Asset Management and Real Estate, and has experience with IFRS and FRS 102.
