EY today announces an alliance with Tanium, the provider of endpoint management and security built for the world’s most demanding IT environments, to transform IT and cybersecurity operations in the Nordics.

The alliance between EY and Tanium helps both organizations gain a better understanding of clients’ IT environments to drive more informed IT management decisions and deeper security remediation and modernization recommendations. The alliance is being rolled out in several countries across the globe, with the Nordics being the latest region to be added.

Tim Best, Head of Cybersecurity at EY Nordics, says:

“This alliance fits well with our technology consulting focus and our ambition to be the chosen cybersecurity transformation partner for our Nordic clients. We will leverage the Tanium platform to reduce risks by helping to identify and manage assets in our clients’ environments. This is now a key part of our service offering.”

The alliance enables EY professionals to provide data-rich insights for clients, as well as giving them the ability to actively change and remediate client environments quickly. In doing so, customers can reduce costs, tear down silos between IT ops and security teams and gain a real-time understanding of the vulnerabilities and risks that they are facing.

Peter Lamber, Regional Team Lead & Director of Channel and Alliances - Nordic & Baltic Region at Tanium, says:

“Many organizations across the Nordics, including EY, are looking for a single platform that delivers endpoint visibility and control. These companies see the value of having highly accurate endpoint data delivered in real-time because it supports priority tasks such as identifying vulnerabilities, whilst also simplifying key processes such as patching machines. Together with EY, we will deliver these benefits to Nordics organizations to help remediate endpoints and improve the resilience of IT environments.”
