Maria is a partner and leader of EY’s consulting services in Bergen. She is leading the Global Consulting Aquaculture competence team and is responsible for several projects in the aquaculture sector. Furthermore, Maria is part of the Norwegian energy team and the European innovation finance team.
She has a broad background from asset management, private equity and boards across Export Finance (GIEK), Oslo Stock Exchange, Nordic Trustee and manufacturing companies. She also has experience with strategic innovation and decarbonization across value chains.
How Maria is building a better working world
I am contributing to our vision by actively working to identify opportunities to improve business models and develop competitive solutions for decarbonization to increase Norwegian companies’ global competitiveness. I firmly believe that cooperation will be the key to Norway taking a leading position in green innovation. In my work, I build and leverage clusters and synergies across value chains. In this way, I hope to contribute so that we together can answer the major questions facing the world, create a competitive Norway and facilitate sustainable businesses to finance society and create the next generation of jobs.
