In our Global Compliance and Reporting team, you’ll provide corporate tax advice and compliance solutions to across a range of industries as you build your career.

What is Global Compliance and Reporting?

As part of the team, you’ll help to provide corporate tax advice and compliance solutions to large corporate clients, including inbound and outbound corporate groups, across a range of industries. By collaborating with tax professionals across the globe to bring our clients value add solutions to resolve complex corporate tax issues and help efficiently manage ever-increasing tax responsibilities.
Your role will assist in delivering on corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations, providing pragmatic tax advice, assisting EY clients to strengthen their tax corporate governance and to facilitate and help manage dealings with revenue authorities. Through the development and use of technology-enabled solutions you’ll help EY clients with making strategic decisions by providing tax insights in their business data.
 
 

What could you be doing?

  • Work with a variety of medium-to-large corporate clients
  • Attend client meetings, support proposals, and help develop market leading compliance solutions
  • Assist in solving complex tax technical issues and preparing tax advice
  • Review financial information and preparing tax returns and tax calculations
  • Help EY clients manage the ever-changing corporate tax landscape by being at the forefront of proposed new tax laws and tax technology offerings
  • Receive on-the-job coaching and mentoring from experienced members of our team

Your career journey in Global Compliance and Reporting

As a graduate, you’ll be part of our 12-month graduate development programme that has been developed for graduates in all service lines, and is focused on connection, learning and celebration.

The programme will provide you with the opportunity to network with your peers from other service lines and geographies. Running in parallel to your technical learning, you will develop leadership skills to become a successful graduate, and as you grow as a transformative leader.

As a Global Compliance and Reporting graduate, you’ll take part in:-

  • Graduate Tax School
  • Consultant Tax Programme (with eligible credits for CA programme)
  • Regular training sessions (including ‘lunch and learn’ sessions, industry-specific sessions, technical training)
  • EY Badges (ranging across many topics, including wellbeing, industry specialisation and technology upskilling)

As a intern, after our company induction, you’ll start developing an understanding of how our Global Compliance and Reporting teams work and will be ready to work alongside teams on real client projects. You’ll meet other new interns from your office.

Your buddy and your counsellor will help you learn your way around the organisation, set your goals and plan your development while you’re here. You'll be well looked after with ongoing learning throughout the Intern Programme with sessions facilitated by our Learning and Development team, Campus Recruitment team and service line specific training. The Intern Programme is a great way to gain valuable audit experience, skills and networks to start building your career.
