As the US-East Regional Managing Partner of Ernst & Young LLP, Rich leads over 12,000 professionals across all services lines in the pursuit of growth, operational excellence and client engagement. In this role, he focuses on collaborating with diverse teams of US professionals to address pressing business issues, obtaining and retaining top talent, and further contributing to the momentum of the Region’s growth and vitality. Rich is extremely active in both the New York City and Washington, DC business communities and frequently contributes to local and national media outlets discussing M&A trends and other important business topics.
In his previous role as the Americas Strategy and Transactions Leader, Rich transformed and successfully developed the practice. He continues to act as a spokesperson on a regional level.
Rich has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston College. He is an ex officio board member of the Partnership for New York City and a board member of the Wolf Trap Foundation and the Lincoln Center Business Advisory Council.
