Beth was EY Global Vice Chair, Public Policy. She oversaw public policy for the organization’s operations in more than 150 countries. In addition, she was a global sponsor for our Diversity and Inclusiveness efforts.

During the Clinton Administration, she worked in the US Department of the Treasury and was responsible for all tax policy matters related to insurance and managed care.

Beth has also been actively engaged in numerous civic and business organizations. She serves on the boards of Vital Voices and The Conference Board, as well as the Board of Trustees of the Aspen Institute, and the Women’s Advisory Board of the World Economic Forum. 

She belongs to the inaugural class of the Henry Crown Fellows of The Aspen Institute and the Committee of 200. Beth is Co-Chair of the International Council on Women’s Business Leadership founded by Hillary Clinton.

How Beth is building a better working world

Beth is a devoted advocate for women’s advancement and has served on the US Delegation to the 53rd and 54th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She has also been named ten times to Forbes’ “World's 100 Most Powerful Women” (MPW) list. Through her leadership, EY joins annually with Forbes to recognize the accomplishments of women on the 100 MPW list at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Her support for diversity, mentoring and flexibility programs has contributed to EY’s consistent recognition by Fortune as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For.” She is also committed to the progression of LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace.
