Change leader in analytics, innovation and digital. Supporter of women in STEM and business. Outdoor enthusiast. Yoga teacher.

A transdisciplinary professional, Ellen is deputy-leading a change management initiative to increase innovation, analytics and digital capabilities in EY client engagements. Prior to joining EY, she headed research and development at a precision agriculture startup and researched model-based decision making at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Ellen values both the human and tech sides of the working world and has built a career uniting these two, often disparate, skill sets. She has mediated courtroom disputes with the Harvard Mediation Program and represented MIT at two United Nations environmental negotiations, COP21 of the Paris Climate Agreement and INC5 of the Minamata Convention.

Ellen earned a Ph.D in Technology, Policy, Management and Engineering Systems as well as a master’s degree in Engineering and Management as a System Design and Management fellow, from MIT. She also earned a master’s degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford.

How Ellen is building a better working world

"By putting the people first, we learn about their perspectives, issues, and ambitions and from that understanding can design analytical, innovative, and digital approaches to help them overcome their challenges and realize their goals. Such a human-centered approach will distinguish EY in the age of artificial intelligence."
