Alexander has over twenty years of experience in strategic development, client service and government and corporate affairs. He is actively involved in the work of the Foreign Investment Advisory Council in Russia and acts as a coordinator of its foreign participants. In 2007 WEF elected Alexander to join Young Global Leaders organization. In 2009 he was included in the top 100 leaders in the Russian Presidential Reserve.
Since 2013, Alexander has been named a leader among senior executives of professional services firms in the Top 1,000 Russian Managers Ranking released annually by the Association of Managers and Kommersant Publishing House. In 2016 he was named the Best CEO in the annual Top 1,000 Russian Managers Awards.
Alexander Ivlev actively promotes the concept of supporting entrepreneurship and supervises EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year international program in Russia since 2003.
Alexander is a member of the Organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Gaidar Forum, Eastern Economic Forum, Expert Council of the Open Innovations Forum, and Public Council of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. He is a member of the Rating Committee of the National Rating of Investment Climate in the Russian Federation. Alexander is a member of the Committee on Strategy of the Agency for Technological Development and a member of the working group for the preparation of the priority program "On Improving Labor Productivity and Employment Support" under the Ministry of Economic Development. He also led the National Business Initiative’s Road Map on Improving the Quality of the Regulatory Environment for Business.
In June 2017 Alexander was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Russian Anti-Doping Agency.
He is a graduate of Moscow State Linguistic University (1991) and has an EMBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (2003).
