EY Doberman accelerates within sustainability - launches new innovation studio

With the ambition of supporting companies in sustainable business, product and service development, EY Doberman is now starting the Nordic innovation studio SALLY in Stockholm.

EY's Megatrend report 2020 describes how the world is facing the next wave of environmental change, an exponential climate impact, with great uncertainty and impact on our planet, and on our lives. Inevitably, the changes will also have a major impact on companies and their operations, at all levels. That is why EY Doberman is now launching the new innovation studio SALLY, which will offer a range of skills and solutions, in order to best develop sustainability-driven business models for customers throughout the Nordic region.

- This is the main issue of our time, and sustainability cannot be a short-term initiative aiming to score PR points. With a unique solution of design, technology, innovation and EY's expertise, SALLY will help companies shift up their strategic sustainability work. Time is short, it is time to act, says Linnéa Becker who leads the investment at EY Doberman.

Within SALLY, companies across the Nordic region will choose between two main offerings centered around innovation partnership: S-lab and Co-lab. In the former, companies are supported to establish innovation units completely focused on sustainability, while Co-lab offers companies, from different sectors, to jointly create solutions to complex problems that require cooperation and exchange.

- Sustainability is firmly on the agenda of any CEO or board. But that is not enough. Those who will be competitive and ultimately shape the future are those who will be able to go from supportive messaging to action and achieve impact. This is why we are so excited to continue along our strategy and piece together a unique blend of competencies, taking the lead and filling a gap in the market, says Jesper Almström, Regional Managing Partner, EY Nordics.
