Dr. Kar Wong is the CEO of Advanced Group of companies, which he founded in 1993, subsequently took public in 2004 and built into a global enterprise with offices and factories worldwide.

Dr. Wong was awarded the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Singapore and has since served on the judging panel for both the Singapore program and the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Ever active in philanthropy, Dr. Wong is involved in various charity activities including serving as a Vice President and council member in National Arthritics Foundation. He regularly provides guidance and mentorship to selective young entrepreneurs. Dr. Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Science (first class honors) and a doctorate degree in engineering from Queen’s University, UK.
