Navigating the MAS Guidelines on Environmental Risk Management for REIT managers

Navigating the MAS Guidelines on Environmental Risk Management for REIT managers

Learn how REIT managers can identify, assess and manage environmental risks and advance their sustainability agenda.

Companies today are facing increasing pressure from investors, governments and regulators to manage environmental risks – in particular, climate risks. In December 2020, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced the introduction of the Guidelines on Environmental Risk Management, which set out the expectations for asset managers, including REIT managers, to identify, assess and manage these risks. How can REIT managers meet these requirements or go further to establish themselves as a leader in this area?

Join us at this training session, where the EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services team will help you navigate the key challenges of the MAS guidelines and share insights to support you in advancing your sustainability agenda. The session will also feature a panel discussion with experienced practitioners from REITs and financial institutions.
