Kai Eng is EY Asean Indirect Tax Leader and a tax services partner at Ernst & Young Solutions LLP in Singapore. He is experienced in tax compliance, planning and consultancy work for local and multinational companies across various sectors, including pharmaceutical, technology, aerospace, and oil and gas.

He is actively involved in GST process and internal control reviews under the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme, annual reviews of GST returns under the Assisted Self-help Kit Programme, as well as GST advisory and planning assignments, including assisting clients in negotiations with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore on critical GST-specific transactions and refunds.

Kai Eng regularly conducts GST sessions, including lectures at the Tax Academy of Singapore. He is an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax & GST) and a GST Committee member with Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
