This alert provides a summary of the transfer of incentive awards, enhancements to the IA Scheme and changes to the LIA scheme.
The Economic Expansion Incentives (Relief from Income Tax) (Amendment) Bill was passed in Parliament on 26 March 2020. The Bill provides for, amongst others, the transfer of incentive awards and enhancements to the Investment Allowance (IA) Scheme. Separately, some administrative changes have also been made to the Land Intensification Allowance (LIA) scheme.
