Dr. Toshiharu Mogi, known as Toshi, is a Principal in the EY-Parthenon Financial Services group at Ernst & Young LLP, focused on strategy and growth.

He joined the EY organization in 2022 with more than 20 years of experience in strategy consulting, innovation, technology and operations in financial services. Toshi has worked with executive level leaders in influential global companies to deliver business impact for their most critical challenges in digital transformation, growth strategy and ESG product strategy.

Toshi is experienced in entrepreneurial approaches to building new businesses, driving innovation through lean start-up models, human-centered design, design thinking, digital transformation, customer experience strategies and business analytics. His domain experience in financial services, includes banking (retail, commercial, investment), capital markets (asset management, asset servicing), insurance (personal, commercial, re-insurance), and payments.

Toshi earned his MS, BS and PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Cornell University. He is an adjunct professor in Products of Design at the School of Visual Arts.
