    Data Analytics at EY

    As part of the Technology Consulting Data Analytics Team, we deliver leading-edge business intelligence and analytics for our clients, to drive performance improvement across multiple services and operational functions. 

    Our team lead, research and deliver client solutions using a range of Data Analytics and automation to develop innovative prototypes to bring to life our capability

    What will you be doing?

    • Building strong working relationships with clients to better understand their technical problems and automation opportunities
    • Delivering client solutions using a range of technologies and developing innovative prototypes to bring to life our capability 
    • Learning about new technologies and research and how they could be applied for the benefit of our clients
    • Continuous learning and development through mentorship, Data Analytics and Intelligent Automation Learning pathways, and self-directed study

    Are you eligible to apply?

    You’ll need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, three A-levels, 5 Highers or equivalent, and preferably a STEM degree or a degree that can demonstrate strong analytical thinking by the time the programme starts. We're looking for students that have a passion and interest in technology and/or those that have some experience of SQL, Spark, Python or R and/or experience with databases, data analysis/manipulation and reporting.

    Two years

    Business skills training

    You'll have access to a broad suite of learning resources to develop your consulting and technical skills including our EY Badges programme which offers structured learning leading to accreditation in a range of subject domains including Data Visualisation, Innovation and Robotic Process Automation.

    How’s it structured?

    After an EY induction, you’ll join your team and jump straight into work on real client projects.

    From working as part of a team redesigning processes and procedures or advising clients on the development and implementation of technology solutions, you’ll develop a huge mix of business and people skills.

    Throughout the programme you'll have access to training and development resources as well as support from colleagues within your team. Since no two projects will be the same, we’ll coach and mentor you in a way that will prepare you for anything.

    If you do a great job, you could be promoted to Senior Consultant by the end of the programme.
