    Enterprise Risk

EY’s Enterprise Risk practice is an integral part of our Consulting Services business. The key to our success is in helping clients solve difficult business issues via integrating a variety of skills in the area of risk, control and governance, such as internal audit, internal controls optimisation, IPO readiness, audit quality assessments, and enterprise risk management.

    Technology in Enterprise Risk

To anticipate and meet the needs of an increasingly digital environment for clients, EY has launched Virtual Internal Auditor (EY VIA). EY VIA is a digital platform powered by data analytics and leading technology to deliver internal audit excellence for EY clients holistically across their organisation.

    What will you be doing?

    • Work within different-sized, multi-disciplinary teams and play a key role in ensuring high-quality outputs and service to top domestic and international clients in various industries
    • Get to know our clients' businesses, carry out tests and audits, recommend improvements, and report on results to key stakeholders within the client's organisation
    • Develop knowledge and implement new solutions in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients

    Are you eligible to apply?

You’ll need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, three A-levels, 5 Highers or equivalent, and an honours degree (in any subject) by the time the programme starts.

    Programme length

    3.5 years (dependent on programme)

    Professional qualifications

Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) / Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA) / Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)

    How’s it structured?

From day one, you’ll work directly with clients, often at their offices, getting to know how they work. So by year two, you’ll be leading and coaching colleagues, owning client relationships and growing your project management and team skills. But whether you’re on the factory floor or in the board room, in the UK or overseas, you’ll do it all while working closely with and being supported by your team. From induction and throughout structured and on-the-job training (the best way to learn), you’ll also be studying for industry qualifications.
