    Technology Consulting

    Our job is to understand what technological challenges our clients are facing, and then find the best solutions to help them improve how they work. Our teams specialise in a range of skills from those with existing computer science and programming expertise to those from wider STEM backgrounds with the desire to learn. It’s about being tech-savvy and great with people.

    What will you be doing?

    • Working across a range of industries to address technology challenges for our clients
    • Building your knowledge in a range of market leading digital and emerging technologies
    • Leveraging the expertise of our teams to shape our client's technology agenda
    • Helping our clients plan and deliver organisation-wide transformation programmes
    • You’ll also be expected to be flexible
    • Are you eligible to apply?

      You’ll be an undergraduate at university, in any year, studying for a STEM, business, or computer science related honours degree, have an interest in technology, and keen to kick-start a career in consulting/professional services. You’ll also need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels, five Highers or equivalent. 

      The programme is open to students from STEM, business and computer related disciplines. We particularly welcome applications from students that have a passion and interest in technology and/or those that have some knowledge and/or experience of: SQL, Python, R, Java, C++ or PowerBI and knowledge of cloud computing, cyber security, data analysis/manipulation and reporting.

    How’s it structured?

    Once you join EY,  you'll become an integral part of the team and make an impact on the world of work. You'll receive a comprehensive induction and hands-on training that has real-world application. You will join the business and begin doing the same work as our graduates, working as part of a team, meeting with clients and making a real contribution to projects. 

    You’ll receive specific training in a different business area (including Technology Transformation, Technology Strategy and Architecture, Technology Solutions and Delivery, Digital and Emerging Technologies, Data Analytics, Testing, Cyber, and/or Engineering and Integration) to ensure that by the end of the programme, you will have a wealth of new skills. You'll also attend interactive seminars discussing the following:

    • Business challenge
    • Digital disruption
    • Commercial awareness training
    • IT training
    • Excel training
    • Presentation training
    • Quality and risk management training
    • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) day
    • Interview training
    • Professional qualifications training route presentation and training
