We embrace technology and innovation to drive results and have dedicated transformation teams that focus on developing new technologies to support our people and our clients. During the graduate programme, you can expect to work with a range of technologies, from data analytics software to collaboration tools.

    What will you be doing?

    • Gaining experience in a variety of Workforce Advisory's specialisms, such as change management, communications, HR transformation, talent management, diversity and inclusion, learning, and workforce analytics
    • Working in project teams to help clients solve people-related problems and implement people-related solutions. Your day-to-day activities will vary depending on your project
    • Conducting research and analysing data to develop commercially sound recommendations
    • Writing elements of reports, presentations and other deliverables
    • Travelling around and outside of the UK if the project calls for it
    • There will also be times when you are not working on a project and you will contribute to business development for the team by helping with proposals
    • Are you eligible to apply?

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

We welcome applications from all academic backgrounds and are looking for individuals who will succeed at EY in the desired role and future qualifications, therefore throughout our recruitment process your academic performance will be considered against your online assessment scores to determine your suitability for an EY role. We are also proud to partner with RARE recruitment, so that your application can be processed in the context of your socio-economic background. This allows us to give you the maximum credit for your achievements, assessing whether you have overachieved in light of your personal circumstances.

    How’s it structured?

Your career at EY starts with an intensive induction course to develop your core consulting skills and get you ready to start a project and interact with clients.

There will be frequent training throughout the two years of the programme to enhance your technical and soft skills and improve your subject-matter knowledge.

To help you achieve your career goals, you’ll be assigned a personal careers counsellor and will receive the encouragement of, and exposure to, senior members of the Workforce Advisory team. This will enable you to shape your career and realise your potential.

Workforce Advisory consultants solve clients' people-related issues, but for us to deliver the best for them we must deliver the best within. Workforce Advisory has a strong people culture and has a focus on diversity, inclusion and collaboration. Everybody helps one another in whatever way they can, regardless of role or rank.

As a final assignment you’ll present a business case/case study to the senior leadership team, showing the core consulting skills you have obtained, why you’re ready for a promotion and what business area you’d like to work in. Don’t worry if this sounds daunting – you’ll have plenty of time to prepare! And, if you do a good job, you could be promoted to Senior Consultant at the end of the programme.
