    Sustainable Finance Transformation

    Technology in Sustainable Finance Transformation

    We develop technology and data solutions to enable businesses to make better-informed decisions, and more importantly, help businesses explore the opportunities data provides in delivering Sustainable Finance goals.

    What will you be doing?

    • Supporting the delivery of key projects for our clients on a wide range of sustainability issues
    • Contribute to commercial insights and thought leadership for our clients
    • Helping to develop new capabilities in sustainability-driven end-to-end transformation and apply these to our client's businesses
    • Building your knowledge in Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)
    • Working with colleagues across different service lines to deliver multi-disciplinary and cross-geographical work
    • Are you eligible to apply?

      If you’re in your penultimate year at university, or if you’re already in your final year but will be doing a one-year Master’s degree, or taking a gap year, this internship is for you. We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will however, need to be working towards an honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, Sustainable Development, Physical Geography, or similar. You'll also have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

      We welcome applications from all academic backgrounds and are looking for individuals who will succeed at EY in the desired role and future qualifications, therefore throughout our recruitment process your academic performance will be considered against your online assessment scores to determine your suitability for an EY role. We are also proud to partner with RARE recruitment, so that your application can be processed in the context of your socio-economic background. This allows us to give you the maximum credit for your achievements, assessing whether you have overachieved in light of your personal circumstances.

    Programme length

    Four-week internship. Please note: Due to UK policies, you must be based in the UK for the entire duration of the programme.

    How’s it structured?

    After kicking things off with an EY induction, you’ll join a team and start working on real client projects – just like our graduates.

    A Summer Internship at EY allows you to develop and acquire new skills, gaining valuable insight into Consulting and be supported by team members and more senior colleagues. Through shadowing senior leaders within the business, you'll gain an in-depth insight into working in a global professional services firm.

    If you do a great job, you could be offered a place on the Sustainable Finance Transformation graduate programme to come back to when you finish university.
