EY Reconnect is our programme for career returners, providing a bridge for professionals to re-enter the workplace after an extended career break.

EY Reconnect gave me exposure to interesting client work but within a programme that was aware of the challenges of coming back to work after a break.

    What is EY Reconnect?

    EY Reconnect is a 12-week programme for people who have had an extended break from the world of work and would like to reconnect with their career. If you have experience as a manager in professional services, consultancy, financial services, technology or a related industry, join us.

    You’ll receive specialised inductions and coaching within one of our client services teams in Consulting, Assurance, People Services, Tax, or Strategy and Transactions. And you won’t do it alone. As part of a peer group of fellow returners who have also had a two-to-10-year break, we’ll make sure you have access to networks and the support you need to pick up where you left off. 

    It’s a great opportunity to refresh your previous experience and expertise within the industry and discover the skills you’ve developed during your break. Because we believe it’s not all about your technical experience that adds value.     You'll be managing tax teams across multiple industries, and be connected to a global network of EY Tax professionals.

    Strategy and Transactions

    Specialising in lead advisory and valuation and business
    modelling, you'll advise companies and private equity firms on
    some of the biggest and most complex cross-border deals in the
    global market.

    What background and past experience is needed for EY Reconnect?

    You’ll have worked at manager level or above, with a background in professional services, consultancy, financial services, technology or a related industry.
