Emma Griffin

Emma is a Non-executive Chair and Investor. She serves on two public company boards including Industrial Alliance, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed insurance and wealth management company, and St. James’s Place, a FTSE 100 wealth management group.  

Emma has extensive experience in the field of investment banking services. She co-founded Oriel Securities, an independent brokerage firm which she subsequently sold to Stifel Corporation in 2014.  Following this, she co-founded a London-based holding company to invest in the recruitment and professional services sector. 

Emma also serves on the board of Claridge, a private investment firm representing the interests of the Bronfman family and is involved in the management of a diverse portfolio.

More recently, she joined the board of Solotech Inc, an audio-visual technology company serving the entertainment sector.   

Since 2016, Emma has also been co-teaching the CEO Insights class, part of the McGill University MBA programme, mentoring students with their CEO projects.
