Stewart Graham

Stewart Graham is the founder, owner and Group Managing Director at Gael Force Group, a Scottish based manufacturer and supplier of marine products, technology and services to international aquaculture and marine industries.

Stewart is passionate about developing and growing business which is high yielding for all stakeholders sustainably and for the long term.   High rates of unemployment and depopulation in the Hebrides during the 1980s motivated him aged 18 to take personal responsibility in making a difference, establishing Gael Force Group and creating an enterprise that could help build a strong, sustainable economic base in Scotland by competing on equal terms with national and international companies.

Today, in a rapidly growing aquaculture sector Gael Force is one of the top 5 businesses in the world who can provide a complete end to end aquaculture installation at sea. This includes a product and technology range conceived, designed, and built at Gael Force, across 5 sites in Scotland and 2 in Canada with support from operations in Glasgow, Plymouth, and Newfoundland.

Outside of business Stewart co-led a working group to develop an ambitious Scottish aquaculture growth strategy out to 2030 and currently co-chairs the Industry Leadership Group committed to delivering that strategy. He leads a charitable initiative to build a world class visitor centre based on the Iolaire tragedy in the Hebrides. He is an adventurer and an accomplished round the world sailor as well as a keen motorcyclist and skier.
