Joanna leads the UK’s EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme which celebrates, supports and connects entrepreneurs. She is just one of the many inspirational women at EY whose passion for building sustainable opportunities for women at all levels knows no boundaries. She is the Co-Chair of The Women’s Network Forum, and thrives off the influence she has on driving diversity and inclusiveness both at EY and in the wider business world.
Joanna sits on the London Markets Board with responsibility for private equity backed portfolio company growth and has over 25 years of experience in providing transactional tax advice, working with private and listed companies.
She joined EY in 1998 as a partner in the Leeds office within our entrepreneurial services group and has a Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of Sheffield.
How Joanna is building a better working world
Joanna mentors and sponsors both female entrepreneurs and women on the corporate career ladder to support them and encourage them to be the best version of themselves. Her only ask is that they pay it forward and are prepared to stand up as inspirational role models themselves, “you can’t be what you can’t see”.
