Margaret helps to develop and leads EY’s approach and responses to regulatory and public policy matters. She frequently engages with a wide variety of stakeholders including regulators, professional bodies, investors, Non-Executive Directors and the audit committee community.
Margaret has 30 years’ experience in the audit profession. She is a qualified auditor and has worked in professional practice in a number of firms and in a professional body, in areas ranging from audit and accounting technical roles, corporate and audit firm governance and most recently regulation, public policy and corporate affairs.
How Margaret is building a better working world
As an audit and corporate governance specialist, Margaret’s career has involved speaking at Non-Executive Director workshops and on public platforms, understanding views of a wide variety of external stakeholders. In her role, she helps EY to proactively and constructively contribute to key public policy debates, that result in outcomes which serve the public interest and enhance the capital markets.
