An Insolvency Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in contingency planning, providing a suite of restructuring options for clients.

Since joining EY in 2014, Simon has led a range of work including the insolvency of a large Oil & Gas exploration company and has also worked with the Civil Aviation Authority in helping them prepare for one of the most substantial repatriation processes ever undertaken.  Simon has been focused most recently on helping Government put in place contingency plans in the event of the failure of some of their highest profile privately run public services. 

His significant experience has helped him support Boards of Directors and lenders in stressed and distressed situations across a number of sectors including Retail, Financial Services, Hospitality and Oil & Gas. 

How Simon is building a better working world 

Simon is passionate about helping Government assess their options and prepare contingency plans to ensure that public services are continued in the event of a failure. He brings both experience and clarity to increase confidence and trust in the most stressed situations, transforming outcomes and providing a more sustainable future.
