He is the founder and CEO of Uptake, an industrial AI Software-as-a-Service platform delivering optimized outcomes of increased productivity, reliability, safety and cybersecurity to global industry. He is the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018 US Award winner.
Brad is a founder of Groupon and Echo Global Logistics (both NASDAQ-listed); MediaOcean and Drivin (both sold); and Tempus, a leader in data-driven precision medicine. He is a founder and managing director of Lightbank, a venture capital firm with investments in more than 110 growth technology companies.
Brad is the founder of Chicago Ideas Week, one of the largest ideas gatherings in the world. He and his wife, Kim, created the Keywell Foundation to support disruptive social entrepreneurs. They signed The Giving Pledge in 2016, committing the majority of their wealth to philanthropy and giving back.
