Technology Business Research, Inc. (TBR) features EY’s five-themed framework to Supply Chain sustainability

We are proud to share that EY was profiled by TBR Inc. in a recent special report titled “Complexity and Trust: EY Confident Supply Chain Sustainability Will Change World”, published in May 2022.

TBR recognizes EY’s sustainable supply chain and operations framework as “coherent and complete”. The report highlights that “EY’s technology integrations appeared to be a seamless component of solving a client’s problem, rather than an attempt to shoehorn technology into an engagement to sell a solution” and that “EY’s ability to bring regulatory expertise, particularly around tax issues, consistently elevated the firm’s value with clients.”

TBR’s favorable assessment of EY’s potential hinges in large part on EY’s track record for layering both trust and data into the firm’s consulting and technology solutions.

EY’s Managed Services profiled by IDC

We are extremely proud to share that EY was profiled by IDC in their special report titled ‘IDC Link: EY Moving Managed Services Into the Spotlight’, published June 2022.

IDC came away from the analyst day knowing that EY's managed service is a unified approach for supporting clients within areas of buyer businesses that EY leverages beyond cost savings for added buyer advantage. EY's modular design allows their clients to sign up with as much or little of their sources as needed. EY is not constrained in their ability to capture enough talent across compliance, tax, audit, and risk to meet their growth demands due to their practice of hiring the best talent from the departments that EY is tasked to manage.

While traditional BPO providers can manage and support the outsourcing of lower end activities (i.e., journal entries, reconciliations, and lease accounting) with hundreds of FTE's, EY's core differentiation comes with their depth of domain knowledge and expertise/skilled resources in areas such as tax, financial/non-financial (ESG) reporting, compliance, and specialized finance (treasury and controllership).

IDC has seen a move towards managed services as the next step in the push to make ESG "business as usual" in today's market. EY takes a similar stance as they continue to develop their "one stop shop" managed service for organization wide ESG measurement and reporting. As per the report, with the largest globally integrated sustainability practice in the world, IDC expects to see EY's sustainability managed service continue to add to its capabilities, use-cases, and client base in the coming months.

EY named a Supply Chain leader in ALM Intelligence Pacesetter Research 2021-2022

We are extremely proud to be positioned as a market leader and "Pacesetter" for Supply Chain by ALM Intelligence. According to the ALM Pacesetters analysis, over the past couple years EY, acknowledged where its strengths lay, reorganized itself to deliver end-to-end transformations – strategy and business model, operational, risk and assurance, financial, tax, human capital, distribution, technology – with digital transformation an important common thread running throughout. As part of this reorientation, EY has also been doubling down in recent years to deeply integrate its service approach in a handful of critical service areas, driving greater cohesiveness in its service delivery, and supply chain is one of those areas. EY sees supply chain as a single continuum, from procurement, sourcing and payments through supplier relationships and ultimately to the user/customer experience, with the emphasis on digital ecosystems “and market networks that enable hybrid forms of cooperation and competition.”

More so than in most other practice areas, EY’s approach to supply chain is asset-intensive using data analytics, cloud, machine learning, automation and blockchain, with more than thirty in-house proprietary tools. EY has also developed a large ecosystem of alliance partners with which it extends its own technical capabilities, including an innovation hub with Nottingham Spirk for product reengineering. Managed services and outsourcing have also become prominent in EY’s offering. EY also collaborates with Procter & Gamble to help foster digital innovation and supply chain excellence for clients.

EY Featured in Omdia Special Report highlighting Strategy and Transactions business (Omdia, an Informa Tech business)

We are delighted to share that EY was recently profiled by Omdia (part of Informa Tech) following our first-ever Strategy and Transactions Analyst event with a special report: ‘Service Provider Spotlight: EY Strategy and Transactions and its quest to deliver long-term value,’ by Adrian Ho, published at the end of March.

According to Omdia, EY Strategy and Transactions has the right approach to help CEOs transform their business, realign goals, and deliver long-term client value. In particular, Omdia believes the service line is in ‘a very strong and competitive position’ with one of EY’s biggest competitive differentiations is its access to the C-Suite, especially the CEO. Transformation usually starts and ends with the C-Suite and almost all IT service providers struggle with this and few can work intimately with them to re-shape and re-invent themselves for the future in the way that EY can, across multiple sectors and disciplines.
