James Sweeney has founded 12 successful health care product and service companies.
Companies he founded include Caremark, which CVS acquired in 2007 for $24 billion, and Coram, CVS acquired in 2013 for $2.1 billion. CardioNet currently has a market valuation of more than $2 billion as a public company.
His recognition and acknowledgments include two Entrepreneur Of The Year® Awards in addition to being inducted into the Hall of Fame. He also received Alumnus of the Year recognition from his alma mater, San Diego State University.
