EY names Tony Jordan as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer

Ernst & Young LLP (EY US or the Firm) today announced the appointment of Tony Jordan as EY Americas and US Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.

In this new role, Jordan will support the US Executive Committee and the Americas Operating Executive as the firm continues to champion its ethical culture, values and standards throughout the organization. He will manage the strategic planning for day-to-day operations of ethics and compliance matters.

Since 2019, Jordan has served as the Firm’s EY Americas Leader of Forensic & Integrity Services practice (Forensics), leading nearly 2,000 professionals to help clients mitigate risk and protect and restore reputations. During his tenure, Jordan and the EY Americas Forensics leadership team employed a strategy centered on culture, resulting in growing their client base by 8% per year, expanding the integration of their technology offerings and introducing new services such as Crisis Management Services & Incident Response.

Jordan has more than 25 years of experience in forensic accounting investigations, fraud risk compliance, issues surrounding generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and general business-related disputes. He also has extensive litigation, consulting and auditing experience.

Jordan previously was a partner in a boutique litigation support firm and the Accounting Branch Chief at the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Boston Regional Office. He began his career as an EY staff accountant.

He holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential from the AICPA. Jordan is based in Boston.
