Tashkent hosted Innovation Day on 22 September, organized by the IT Park of Uzbekistan.

The main item on the agenda was how to develop business in Uzbekistan faced with both present and future challenges. EY participated in the conference as a partner.

Adamas Ilkevicius, Deputy General Director for Strategy and Development at JSC Lithuanian Railways, described the transformation of technology within his company. His company uses the SAP platform as the main accounting system and Mr. Ilkevicius highlighted the transformation of the SAP platform in 2018 to 2021.

Lithuanian Railways have been working with EY on upgrading SAP-based solutions. EY has provided transformational solutions for taxes, accounting, data and investment project management, as well as cross-functional solutions.

It is impossible to improve the company’s activities without transformation and without the introduction of new technologies, and such major changes need to be navigated with the support of reliable partners.
