As member of the board of management at Ernst & Young GmbH and the EY EMEIA Financial Services team, Thomas is responsible for the financial services organization in Germany.

Thomas started his career in banking audit before moving into transaction advisory. Since 2006 he has led the financial services transaction advisory in Germany for the financial services sector.

He studied at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt before joining Arthur Andersen in 1990. A qualified accountant and certified tax consultant, Thomas has been a Partner with EY since 2000.
