Jan currently leads Energy and Natural Resources Advisory Services across Africa, and also serves as Global Client Service Partner at a large, SA-based petrochemical company.
He has, as a Chartered Accountant, been a Partner in a big four firm for the past 21 years and has led numerous transformation projects across the power and utilities, government, and metals and mining, sectors.
He brings multiple skill sets and disciplines together to deliver on client requirements, with a strong focus on skills development within the delivery teams and transferring skills and know-how to clients.
Jan qualified as Chartered Account in 1989 and completed his articles with a big four firm, where he was admitted as a partner in 1999. He joined EY in 2013, working in the GPS Advisory Practice before moving to ENR late in 2018.
