EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Program announced in Georgia

EY Georgia, in association with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia launches EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Program that is held in 145 cities of more than 60 countries for 28 years and is considered the world's most prestigious business award aiming to recognize and celebrate outstanding and innovative entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. In 2014 Georgia will join these countries to award its best entrepreneur.

The general sponsor of the Program is Bank of Georgia, and the media sponsor is business edition Forbes Georgia.

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year press conference was held yesterday, May 7. Ruslan Khoroshvili, Managing Partner of EY Georgia, Ketevan Bochorishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Gilauri, CEO of Bank of Georgia - the General Sponsor of the Program, and Giorgi Bachiashvili, CEO of the Georgian Co-Investment Fund and now the Program's independent jury member, spoke about the Program's importance in supporting and encouraging entrepreneurship in the country which is one of the priorities of the government of Georgia.

In November, 2014, the independent and competent jury will announce winners in different categories as well as the overall country winner.

In June 2015, the holder of the title EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Georgia will be invited to Monte Carlo to participate in a global award ceremony - World Entrepreneur Of The Year®.
