Member of the Financial Services Advisory group at EY, Aranda has more than 14 years of experience as a Management Consultant supporting leading companies develop and implement fresh approaches toward performance improvement.
With deep expertise in banking and payments, Aranda has been leading projects ranging from Business Strategy to Efficiency and Operational Improvement.
Henrik is a Partner in the Financial Services practice. He leads our Banking Union Centre. The main focus being supervisory agendas of the European Central Bank and the Single Resolution Mechanism and how it affects the 125 largest banking groups in the Eurozone. Further Henrik leads our Prudential Strategic Offerings across EMEIA.
Henrik joined EY in 2011 from another Big 4, initially in Copenhagen where he lead the Nordic Risk Practice and the Danish Advisory team but in 2015 he transferred to FSO London. Henrik holds a Masters in Law from University of Copenhagen and an MBA from Copenhagen Business School as well as an FRM certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
As the EY EMEIA Industry Leader for Wealth and Asset Management Alex is responsible for the delivery of all EY services to the Wealth, Asset Management, Alternatives and Asset Servicing sectors.
As the Global Wealth and Asset Management Advisory Leader he is responsible for EY consulting services to the Wealth, Asset Management, Alternatives and Asset Servicing sectors.
Alex joined EY in 1997 and has been a partner in the firm since 2005. Over the last 19 years he has gained experience in advising the Wealth and Asset Management industry across a number of disciplines including strategy, business model transformation, digital and customer experience, post merger integration, growth strategies, cost reduction, regulatory driven business change and risk management.

Tony de Bos is leader in data protection and privacy for the financial services industry in EY EMEIA.
Prof. Damiano Brigo is co-head of group and chair in Mathematical Finance and Stochastic Analysis at Imperial College, London, consistently ranked among the top 10 world universities. Damiano's previous roles include Gilbart Professor and Head of Group at King's College London, Managing Director and Quantitative Innovation Global Head in Fitch Ratings, Head of Credit Models in Banca IMI and Fixed Income Professor at Bocconi.
Damiano published more than 80 works in top journals for Mathematical Finance, Systems Theory, Probability and Statistics, and books for Springer and Wiley that became field references in stochastic interest rate and credit modelling (H-index 35). Damiano is in the Editorial board of a number of scientific journals.
Damiano's interests include pricing, risk measurement, counterparty credit risk collateral and funding, stochastic differential geometry, exponential and mixture manifolds and nonlinear filtering.
Damiano holds a PhD in stochastic filtering with differential geometry.
Iain Brown is a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP in the UK specializing in the actuarial and investment strategy challenges faced by trustees and sponsors of UK pension schemes. He has advised both trustees and sponsors, and believes that funding and investments should be crafted on the back of trustee and sponsor alignment.
Iain developed the EY Fiduciary Management Advisory Service to provide trustees and sponsors with assistance in the selection and monitoring of fiduciary managers. He believes that fiduciary management can have a significant positive impact on the risk management of UK defined benefit pension schemes, but that both the mechanics and diversity of solutions need to be understood in detail before proceeding in any appointment.
Tom Bull is a Director in the FinTech Strategy team at EY, based in London. He has led a range of research projects in the sector for the UK Government and the European Commission, including analyses of the FinTech ecosystem, P2P lending and crowdfunding sectors. He also leads major research work by EY including the EY FinTech Adoption Index, which identifies the level of traction that FinTech is gaining with consumers.
Tom’s background is in corporate finance and he has worked on both cross-border and domestic M&A processes. He has led acquisition and disposal processes for various clients across Europe and Asia.
Patrick is a partner at EY, focused on financial crime solution offerings across EMEIA, and is based in London.

Patrick has split his career between New York and London, and prior to EY worked with three start ups in New York. He started his career with Andersen Consulting.
Andreas Freiling is EY's Insurance Leader for the EMEIA region and for Germany. In addition, he acts as Global Client Service Partner for Allianz Group.
Andreas is based in Frankfurt and qualified as a German Chartered Accountant. He has more than 25 years of experience in auditing and consulting insurance companies of all segments, legal forms and sizes. He specialises in the accounting of insurance companies under local GAAP and international financial reporting standards, in the management of financial risks at insurance companies as well as in insurance regulation both nationally and internationally.
Andreas is a member of the Insurance Working Group at the German Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Imran is a London-based Partner in the Financial Services team and is our Global FinTech Leader. He advises many international financial services institutions on FinTech strategy and serves FinTechs directly helping them to scale up as effectively as possible. Also he advises governments and regulators on FinTech policy. Imran sat on the committee for the Open Banking Working Group and has advised the UK Parliament on FinTech on multiple occasions.
Imran has led EY’s Global FinTech Adoption Index and a global benchmarking study on FinTech that was commissioned by HM Treasury. Outside of EY, he is the Co-founder and Chairman of CommuterClub, a start-up that featured in 2015’s FinTech 50.
David is a Senior Manager in Financial Services Advisory and is practice lead for the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) EMIEA CoE. David has led Robotics projects from the start of EY’s RPA journey in early 2014, supporting clients globally in delivery of large scale RPA programs across sectors and industries. Key methodologies David and his team have developed around RPA include: operating model, strategy, opportunity assessment, automation delivery, client training/upskilling and integration with extended automation technologies (Digital, OCR, Cognitive).
Thomas F Huertas
Together with my partners at EY, I advise major financial institutions around the world on the strategic implications of regulation, based on my experience as supervisor, banker and economist. I publish extensively on banking issues. with a focus on the strategic challenges regulation poses, and the steps banks need to take if they are to thrive in the new environment.
Patricia has co-written and edited a book on Risk culture and effective risk governance – published in September 2014 by Risk Books. She is currently working with different EY practices globally on risk governance and is a member of the EY Global Regulatory Network. The pressure to improve risk governance started in the banking sector but has now encompassed insurance and asset managers and Patricia is looking at frameworks in these sectors as well.
Beth oversees Strategy & Operations for EY’s Beacon Institute. She has over ten years' experience as a sustainability leader and management consultant in areas related to purpose-led transformation.
Beth works with business leaders, board members and academics to deepen thought leadership, elevate the debate and accelerate the adoption of purposeful business strategy. With the Beacon Institute, she is responsible for convening early adopters and leading thinkers to enable the transition to a new, inclusive model of business that can navigate the disruptive forces shaping the 21st century.
Beth is an Ambassador for the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and is a member of the Global Reporting Initiative’s Stakeholder Council.
Chris is a Partner who leads EY's Financial Services RPA/software robotics center-of-excellence and practice building across EMEIA.
Chris helps clients transform including dramatically increasing revenues/profits, reduce costs and create and agile organization through the application of RPA across digital and traditional channels, and throughout the whole organization.
Christina is a Senior Manager with EY's Climate Change and Sustainability Services Practice. She specializes in delivering private sector climate change and sustainability strategy advice, as well as developing government policies for greenhouse gas and energy management and has lived and worked in Australia, China, Indonesia and the UK. John leads EY's work on compliance and conduct across EMEIA. A member of our global regulatory network of senior former regulators, he plays a leading role in our work on regulatory reform. He works primarily with major regulatory bodies and leading global financial services institutions as they transform their businesses in response to new regulatory requirements and address supervisory challenges. He helps drive transformational change in clients’ compliance and conduct capabilities.
James currently leads EY's dedicated financial technology capability across Asia-Pacific, supporting early-stage, growth-stage, and non-traditional financial service providers. He is also an APAC leader of the EY global payments practice.
Karl Meekings is EY’s Lead Analyst for the Global Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) Sector. With over a decade of industry experience, he is responsible for the development of strategic thought leadership and insight for EY's BCM Sector, examining opportunities and challenges for banking clients in both developed and emerging markets.
Karl was previously at Accenture where he worked as a consultant with major banking clients and was later responsible for leading key research programmes in its UK financial services business. Karl began his career in The Royal Household.

He has built digital agencies and developed award winning digital experiences, programmes and solutions for start-ups, SME's and Fortune 500 companies that created new customers and measurable efficiencies.
Nicola is the Global Finance Transformation Leader within the EY Finance Risk and Actuarial Change working group. His professional activity has been mainly focused in the Insurance industry with a specific emphasis in the Transformation projects, both financial and organisational. Nicola has twenty years of experience in management consulting.
Colin is a risk management and compliance professional. His expertise is in regulatory and anti money laundering legislation in the Financial Services sector in UK, US, Europe and Asia Pac. He has international experience of leading complex change programmes across banks and financial institutions.
Pierre is a partner focused on customer relations within retail and corporate Financial Services Institutions. He has lead a large number of transformation projects in many countries in Europe but also in most of emerging markets, involving new types of customer relations, development of digital services, distribution networks, alliances with various partners, new branch organization models
Jeremy Pizzala is currently EY’s Global leader for Cybersecurity in the Financial Services sector, with 26 years’ experience in Consulting, Outsourcing and Business Transformation. Jeremy has helped clients across the banking, capital markets and insurance sectors implement large scale technology led systems to manage their Cyber risk. He has also developed novel solutions leveraging quantitative modelling techniques to help clients get a firmer grip on their potential cyber economic losses and the associated responses.
Jeremy also has in-house banking experience gained from working in a leading regional bank for 5 plus years. He has diverse international experience, having lived and worked in locations including Hong Kong, London & Sydney.
Robert is a Senior Manager at EY, focused on IT-enabled transformation in the wealth and asset management industry. He is based in Zurich.
Robert helps wealth and asset managers transform their business through the smart application of technology. He has relevant experience across a number of technology-related disciplines, including technology strategy, IT-enabled business model transformation, platform strategy and migration as well as regulatory-driven business change.
Robert holds a PhD in engineering and computer science from the University of London.
Bill leads Ernst & Young’s Global Banking & Capital Markets practice, the firm’s largest sector with approximately 21,000 professionals worldwide serving the world’s top global banks. He has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry serving as the Coordinating Partner on some of Ernst & Young’s largest audit and advisory investment bank clients and is the Senior Advisory Partner on a number of global and US banking Institutions. He has held positions on both the firm’s Global and Americas advisory councils and holds a B.S. in accounting from Binghamton University.

Anna is a London-based Director in Customer & Strategy team. She has almost 15 years of experience advising financial services clients across the UK and continental Europe, helping them improve their performance, spot market opportunities and deliver better outcomes for the customers.
Anna was one of the leaders of EY flagship Global Consumer Banking Survey, and led number of other research projects into trends in financial services, their impact on customers and capabilities required to benefit from them.
Outside of EY, Anna is passionate about creating engagement using gamification methods and has created number of serious games. She is also working on her start-up with focus on engagement and community building
Charles R Smith
Experienced financial services consultant with 20+ years’ experience, primarily in wealth management. An inventor on 8 US patents on wealth management process and product design. Has worked extensively with many of the top 10 US financial services institutions with a focus on several key wealth management areas: product strategy and platform design, operating model development, client reporting, process improvement, service delivery strategy and approach.
Previous experience includes extensive work in product management, relationship management, marketing and strategy and includes P&L ownership. Extensive experience in innovating, creating, and growing products for the financial services industry. Proven problem solver that has developed several innovative financial software products, both software and ASP. Led several large scale product development initiatives, using both captive and outsourced/offshore resources. Created pricing models for a variety of products and channels. Considered an industry expert in retail wealth management products, especially Unified Managed Accounts; has spoken at many conferences and authored several white papers on a variety of topics. Proven manager that has led a variety of teams throughout career.
With over 20 years experience gained across the Engineering, Banking and Consultancy sectors, I aim to continue drawing upon my core skills to continue shaping solutions of the future for my clients, leveraging on my knowledge of analytical and innovative solutions in the data and technology space.

Hamish is a partner who leads the firm’s EMEIA Payments practice. He advises a broad spectrum of clients, from established international institutions to new entrants and FinTechs, on all aspects of payments. He works closely with clients to understand both the opportunities and emerging threats presented by the changing environment, including Open Banking, PSD2 and financial crime compliance. He engages on topics from emerging technology and legacy replacement through to regulatory compliance and digital transformation. He has worked across diverse geographies including India, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and Europe.
Aidan Walsh is a Tax Partner in EY’s Financial Services Office. He has 20 years’ experience in the taxation of financial services activities in a domestic and international context.
Aidan is a qualified solicitor with a law degree from UCC. Aidan is a member the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds a diploma in corporate treasury from DCU. He is also an associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland. He has recently completed a Master’s in Business Studies on Intra-Firm Co-ordination.

Klair White is a Senior Vice President within EY’s infrastructure advisory practice in New York, and has over nine years’ experience in EY’s transaction advisory practice, mainly focusing on energy, waste and water infrastructure transactions.
In addition to her extensive experience as a trusted financial and commercial advisor to government clients on large-scale environmental infrastructure procurement programs, Klair also brings a deep understanding of global energy and sustainability trends, having until recently served as editor and lead writer of EY’s “Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index” publication for over five years. As such, she also works with high-profile corporates on the development and execution of their global renewable energy strategies.
David is the Global Capital Markets Innovation leader and the UK Capital Markets Technology Advisory leader - helping investment banking clients to evolve and innovate their way back to acceptable ROE, while continuing to deliver against their existing mandatory commitments. Increasingly this involves working with FinTech firms too - to help them to scale up, and become valued partners in the investment banking ecosystem.
