Global Delivery Services (GDS) consists of various service delivery centers from which our Client Service and Enablement Services teams operate to deliver strategic support to our EY member firms. GDS spans all geographies, practices, services lines, sectors and competencies within EY to deliver deeply-integrated services that result in efficient and world-class solutions.

Today, the GDS team is 29,500 strong across five countries and plays an important role in EY’s growth strategy by providing efficient and effective support to our service lines and enablement functions. What can I do here?

GDS India is part of a worldwide network of service delivery centers from which our Client Service and Enablement Services teams operate.

GDS India employs professionals at five centers across the country – Bangalore, Gurgaon, Chennai, Kochi and Trivandrum. The functions and service lines currently being supported from our centers include Advisory, Assurance, TAX, TAS, Knowledge, Business and Creative Services, Risk Management Services, Finance and Accounting, and IT Services to name a few. We provide high quality and value-added support to our customers who are EY member firms, working to agreed principles of exceptional client service.

Our structure:

Client Service

  • Advisory services include internal audit, compliance, reporting and analytics services. When you work with Advisory, you will be exposed to both international projects and local client work that we support in the domestic market.
  • Assurance supports the service line in EY offices to help their clients meet regulatory demands around the world. You will work with a team of professionals providing assurance support to EY member firms.
  • Tax helps country practices streamline and manage large engagements for many clients. You will learn about tax regulations in various jurisdictions and play an important role in helping your clients file timely and accurate returns.
  • Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) provides transaction support, business modelling and valuation services. You will be working seamlessly with EY teams, which gives TAS professionals’ great learning and development opportunities, including the chance to study for professional qualifications.
  • Knowledge is a team of information professionals who help EY understand the clients’ business environments in order to improve the quality of service delivery.

Enablement Services

  • Markets Enablement Services – You will work with different accounts and business development teams across geographies helping them expand business and achieve their growth objectives.
  • Talent Services – You will get involved in providing a wide range of HR support services through standardized, global processes enabling Region Talent teams and client-serving teams to focus more on the business’ strategic agenda.
  • Creative Agency Services – You will find several exciting career opportunities in translation services, content development for web-based learning and instructor-led training programs, as well as operations and administrative services. As part of our design team, you’ll provide graphic design and interactive media development.
  • Finance and Accounting Services – As part of this function, you will not only learn how financial resources are used and managed, but also master how to analyze revenue and expenses. Your analysis will help decision making by leaders and project owners.
  • IT Services – You will help maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, as part of a team that provides help-desk, network and data center services to our employees, along with workstation support, telecommunications and IT products.
  • Risk Management – You will help us manage and mitigate risks that are inherent to any business and learn to make independent and objective evaluations in assessing and addressing risk management issues.

GDS Operations

  • In this area, you will provide operations support primarily to client services and enablement services. You will analyze and report on EY wide business development and work on project management and business continuity planning. The team also provides support in human resources, communications, project management, procurement and workplace enablement services.
