Our EY-Parthenon teams in China support clients in driving strategic insights for clients across a variety of industries, enabling our clients to make business decisions to reach their organization’s full potential.

Our work includes growth strategy, transaction strategy and optimization strategy, with a focus in the Consumer Products & Retail, Diversified Industrial Products, Education, Health Care, Life Sciences, and Private Equity sectors.

The China team is a member of the EY-Parthenon practice of Ernst & Young (China) Advisory Limited

How to apply

Campus hires (application portal only)

Full-time (Undergraduate/Graduate and MBA)

We run regular full-time campus recruitment programs for undergraduate/graduate degree and MBA students in their final year of study. Undergraduate/graduate students are welcome to apply for a Business Analyst/Associate position, while MBA students are welcome to apply for a consultant position. We will publish the hiring schedule on EY Campus Recruit WeChat Account (微信公众号-安永校招) around September. The application portal usually opens in September and will be active for one to two months. Please kindly check and submit your application in due course.

Summer Internship (Undergraduate/Graduate and MBA)

We also offer summer internship programs to undergraduate/graduate and MBA students in their penultimate year of study. Star performers may be eligible to skip several rounds of full-time interviews and obtain a return offer.
We will publish the hiring schedule on the EY Campus Recruit WeChat Account (微信公众号-安永校招) around March. The application portal usually opens in March and will be active for one to two months. Please kindly check and submit your application in due course.

Experienced hires (through email)

We run off-cycle experienced hiring across the year, for levels from Business Analyst up to Senior Consultant and above. Typically for experienced hires, we would expect candidates to have some commercial work experience, ideally in strategy consulting. Other relevant industry experience with transferable skills would also be considered.

Important information/FAQs

If my school is listed on EY-Parthenon global page as one of the “core” schools, how do I apply for China office in on-campus recruiting?

Currently, the application process is the same for all student candidates in China. Please refer to “Campus Hires” under the “How to apply” section.

I am no longer a student, how should I apply?

We run off-cycle experienced hires across the year, for levels from junior to senior. Please refer to “Experienced Hires” under the “How to apply” section.

What attributes are you looking for among the candidates?

A quick list of attributes we hope to see in a consultant include:

  • An outstanding academic record
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and lead high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous consulting experience will be a plus

For experienced hires, we would further expect candidates to have commercial work experience, ideally in strategy consulting. Other relevant industry experience with transferable skills would also be considered.

Do I have opportunity to meet with EY-Parthenon professionals in person to know more about the company?

We run opening events and campus talks in selected venues, typically in October during Campus Hires. Specific dates and locations would be published on the EY Campus Recruit WeChat Account (微信公众号-安永校招) prior to the events.

What happens after I submit my application?

We will contact only those candidates who are selected to interview. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret that we cannot respond to all candidates.

What is the interview process at EY-Parthenon's China office?

Our interview process typically includes:

  • Online test
  • Pre-talk
  • Offline test
  • One-on-one case interview(s)
  • Final partner review

After the final round of interviews, the recruiting team reconvenes to extend offers to the most qualified candidates.
