Tokuya Takizawa

EY Japan Managing Partner, Markets; Japan Chief Sustainability Officer

EY Japan Regional Markets leader. Strong loyalty to the EY organization for more than 30 years. Certified public accountant.

Tokuya is the EY Japan Managing Partner for Markets and also the EY Japan Chief Sustainability Officer. In this role, he has led the Automotive, Consumer Product, Technology and Trading House sector accounts and shapes sector knowledge and insights.

A Certified Public Accountant, he has been a Partner at Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC since 2000. He commenced his career with the EY organization in 1987 and was based in New York from 1993 to 1994, where he was involved in the financial audits of US investment banks.

From 2007 to 2012, he led the Japan Business Services group in Europe, where he helped Japanese companies growing in European countries.

Tokuya has worked primarily on audits of Japanese- and US-listed companies in the first half of his career with EY. He has then led Japan Area Markets and worked closely with EY member firms’ offices around the globe on the cross-border markets agenda.
