Russian winners announced for 2015 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year®

EY in Russia has announced the national winners of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® awards. This competition has been held in more than 60 countries for the last 30 years, and in Russia since 2003. EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® is the world's only awards program to honor top-class entrepreneurs.
The overall winner of the Russian national title of 2015 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year®, as well as the winners in 10 categories, were selected at a gala ceremony held in Moscow on 26 November 2015. Dmitry Purim, Chairman of the Management Board of Sovfraсht, was declared Russia's overall winner and also earned the top prize in the Transport category. He will represent Russia at the World Entrepreneur of the Year awards in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in June 2016, which will bring together leading entrepreneurs from around the world.
The independent panel consisting of outstanding business leaders, government officials and previous winners judged the finalists against the following criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, innovations, financial performance, business growth, industrial leadership, and corporate social responsibility.

Alexander Ivlev, EY Managing Partner for Russia and Director of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Russian program, commented: “During these tough times, entrepreneurs remain optimistic and are showing great competitive spirit: this year we had 32 finalists who impressed the judges with their business performance, innovation success stories, creative ideas and passion. The entrepreneurs who competed in this year's semi-final provide jobs for 84,000 people. The 2015 contest brought together strong entrepreneurs from Russia's 15 regions who represented a wide range of industries, from IT to textiles. The total revenues of the semi-finalists exceed RUB 80 billion. I believe that these entrepreneurs comprise a powerful force that will help us weather the tough times and drive economic recovery.”
About the winner
Dmitry Y. Purim, Chairman of the Management Board, Sovfracht
