Barjans, d. o. o.

The Barjans company is a wholesaler of sanitary paper, professional cleaning agents and cleaning tools. They offer virtually everything in the hygiene field, from cleaning machines and sanitary supplies to consumables for the catering industry and paper products. Their range includes more than 4,000 items, aimed at all levels of professional requirement and various price points. Last year, they achieved revenues of just over €8 million, but the company’s success is built on far more than its sales volume. The Barbo family believes that their depth of knowledge is perhaps even more important to the provision of an effective cleanliness and hygiene system than their range of good quality products.

Bio-Sad, d. o. o.

Bio-Sad, a family company, has more than 25 years of tradition in producing non-alcoholic, alcoholic and wine-based beverages. From its humble beginnings in Jakobski Dol, the company is about to expand its plant in Lenart to 15,000m² in 2020. It is a holder of the International Food Standard (IFS) certificate and produces beverages under both its own and the Apis brand. The company also bottles beverages for other brands, using their recipes or Bio-Sad’s own. Three years ago, the founder, Vladimir Černčič, passed the torch to his son Andrej.

Hubat, d. o. o.

The Hubat family business from Kamnik was founded in 1992 and has “travelled” a long way since. From beginning with one truck, it has become one of the leading transporters of dangerous and flammable liquids in the region. Its development has been based on safe and reliable transport and logistics solutions, active partner relationships and constant innovation. It now has a 25-year tradition in offering transport services, considering itself a stable company. Gregor Hubat and his brother Aleksander evolved the company, modestly started by their father, into a renowned international logistics company.

Incom, d. o. o.

A family-owned business from Ajdovščina, Incom is Slovenia’s largest producer of ice cream and frozen confectionery, under its own brands Leone and Leone AL!VE. As an innovator and producer of ice cream for other brands, the company exports more than two million ice cream cones, lollies, pots, tubs and other varieties all over the world every day. It has more than 400 employees and invests profits into innovation and development. This year’s revenue will reach €66 million, which is €11 million more than last year. However, owner Andrej Slokar values development, innovation and interpersonal relations with family members and employees more than profits alone.

Kodila, d. o. o.

Janko Kodila took over the company from his dad in 2000 and carried the name throughout Slovenia. Today, everyone has at least heard of the Kodila brand and its products, from pork rinds and pâtés, to hams, and recently also some non-meat products. Furthermore, the mouths of true gourmets and lovers of traditionally-praised Prekmurje cuisine start to water when they hear the name Kodila. They employ around 50 people and will achieve €5.5 million revenue this year, with 17% growth.

Labena, d. o. o.

Irena Lemut Čeh got the idea for her own company during the economic crisis which struck Yugoslavia at the beginning of the 1990s. Today, Labena has more than 75 employees in offices throughout all the former-Yugoslav countries, markets its services in many parts of Europe and cooperates with partners worldwide. They provide development and research services to the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and health institutions. All this is reflected in its performance, with last year’s revenues of over €8 million representing 15% growth on the previous year, and the plan is to reach €10 million this year.

Pekarna Pečjak, d.o.o.

Pekarna Pečjak’s beginnings date back to 1972, when Stanislav Pečjak opened a biscuit shop. The company is today renowned for quality frozen and fresh bakery products, as well as pasta. In 2018, their turnover was more than €36 million with net profit of more than €700,000. Today, all three of Stanislav’s children, along with their partners, work for the company. Aside from development, one of the key competitive advantages of Pekarna Pečjak is flexibility, with agility and adaptability becoming increasingly important in the baking industry.

Pobles, d.o.o.

The story of the Pobles family business began in the 1990s, at the location of the failed Brest woodworking company in Cerkno. Company founder Branko Petrič used the courage and experience and started producing custom-made furniture with a small group of carpenters. Today the company is led by Branko’s son Primož, who established Pobles as a boutique producer of unique furniture in a higher price bracket. Their competitive advantage is their personal, integral approach. Customers find everything in one place, from conceptual design, planning and production to assembly and repair.

Škerjanc, d.o.o.

Mitja Škerjanc began in 1993 as an independent entrepreneur, producing elk skin sponges in his garage, before quickly shifting his focus to chair upholstery. Because he saw greater opportunities in commerce than production, he found his niche in the manufacture of light footstools known as tabourets. Highly successful sales of these items led to the growth of a company that now offers complete furniture solutions mainly for hotels and restaurants, but also for offices, hospitals and nursery schools. Their range includes chairs, tables, garden furniture from different materials and furniture specifically for restaurants. They also custom-make higher-quality products according to customers’ wishes.

Tehnos, d.o.o.

In Tehnos, they say that their values are already hidden in their name: technology, aesthetics, speed, innovation, responsibility and professionalism. Their story began with a small undertaking, which has developed into a company with 125 employees, producing mulchers and other agricultural machinery under its own brand, plus components for the automotive and electrical industries. The company is the child of Anton and his wife Vera, the employees are their family and work is their way of life. All this is reflected in their attitude, in the atmosphere they have created and in the company’s incredible growth.

Barjans, d. o. o.

Vrhniški Barjans je grosist, ki se ukvarja s prodajo sanitarnega papirja, profesionalnih čistil in pripomočkov za čiščenje. Ponujajo tako rekoč vse, od različnih čistilnih strojev, sanitarnega potrošnega materiala do papirne in gostinske galanterije. Njihov asortiman obsega več kot 4.000 izdelkov različnih kakovostnih in cenovnih razredov za čistočo in higieno v prostorih. Z njihovo prodajo so lani ustvarili dobrih 8 milijonov evrov prometa. A Barjans je v resnici precej več kot to. Za učinkovit sistem čistoče in higiene niso potrebni le ustrezni izdelki, temveč ustrezno znanje, ki ga družina Barbo razvija že od leta 1990.

Bio-Sad d. o. o.

Družinsko podjetje Bio-Sad se lahko pohvali z več kot 25-letno tradicijo v proizvodnji brezalkoholnih in alkoholnih pijač ter pijač na osnovi vina. Od skromnih začetkov v Jakobskem Dolu se bodo v letu 2020 razširili na 15 tisoč kvadratnih metrov velik obrat v Lenartu. Pohvalijo se lahko s certifikatom mednarodnega standarda IFS (International Food Standard) ter pijačami lastne blagovne znamke in znamke Apis. Hkrati polnijo pijače tudi za druge blagovne znamke, po njihovih ali lastnih recepturah. Ustanovitelj Vladimir Černčič je pred tremi leti vajeti podjetja predal v roke sina Andreja.

Hubat, d. o. o.

Družinsko podjetje Hubat iz Kamnika je bilo ustanovljeno leta 1992 in je od takrat »prevozilo« dolgo pot. Od podjetja z enim samim tovornjakom do enega vodilnih prevoznikov nevarnih in vnetljivih tekočin v regiji. Z varnimi in zanesljivimi transportnimi ter logističnimi rešitvami, aktivnimi partnerskimi odnosi, pa tudi nenehnim inovativnim prilagajanjem sledijo gospodarskemu razvoju. Pohvalijo se lahko s 25 let trajajočo tradicijo prevozništva, sebe pa ocenjujejo kot stabilno podjetje. Iz podjetja, ki ga je skromno začel njun oče, sta Gregor Hubat in njegov brat Aleksander, naredila mednarodno priznanega logista.

Družinsko podjetje Incom iz Ajdovščine je največji proizvajalec sladoleda in zamrznjenih slaščic. Pod svojima blagovnima znamkama Leone in Leone AL!VE ali kot inovator in proizvajalec sladoledov za druge blagovne znamke – v svet vsakodnevno pošlje več kot dva milijona kornetov, palčk, lončkov, banjic in drugih vrst sladoleda. V podjetju je zaposlenih že več kot 400 sodelavcev, dobiček pa nenehno vlagajo v inovacije in razvoj. Letos bodo ustvarili 66 milijonov evrov prihodkov, kar je 11 milijonov več kot lani. Lastnik Andrej Slokar pravi, da mu več kot dobiček pomenijo razvoj, inovacije in dobri medosebni odnosi tako z družinskimi člani kot tudi z zaposlenimi.

Kodila, d. o. o.

Janko Kodila je leta 2000 družinsko podjetje prevzel od očeta in ime ponesel širom Slovenije. Danes blagovno znamko Kodila in njihove izdelke, od ocvirkov, paštet do šunk, v zadnjem času pa tudi nekatere nemesne izdelke, vsaj bežno pozna vsak. Tistim pravim gurmanom, ljubiteljem že po tradiciji močno opevane prekmurske hrane, pa se ob omembi imena Kodila takoj pocedijo sline. Zaposlujejo okoli 50 ljudi, letos bodo dosegli 5,5 milijona evrov prihodkov ob 17-odstotni rasti.

Labena, d. o. o.

Irena Lemut Čeh je idejo za lastno podjetje dobila v času krize, v kateri se je naša nekdanja država znašla v začetku 90. let prejšnjega stoletja. Danes ima Labena več kot 75 zaposlenih, pisarne v vseh državah nekdanje Jugoslavije, svoje storitve tržijo v večjem delu Evrope, pri projektih pa sodelujejo s partnerji z vsega sveta. Svoje razvojno-raziskovalne storitve ponujajo največjim farmacevtskim podjetjem in zdravstvenim ustanovam širom sveta. Vse to se odraža tudi v številkah: lani so imeli blizu osem milijonov evrov prihodkov, kar je 15 odstotkov več kot leto prej, za letos jih prvič načrtujejo okroglih deset milijonov.

Pekarna Pečjak d.o.o.

Začetki Pekarne Pečjak segajo v leto 1972, ko je Stanislav Pečjak odprl obrtno delavnico za proizvodnjo keksov. Danes podjetje slovi tako po kakovostnih zamrznjenih in svežih pekovskih izdelkih kot po testeninah. Leta 2018 so ustvarili dobrih 36 milijonov evrov prihodkov od prodaje in več kot 700 tisoč evrov čistega dobička. V podjetju so danes zaposleni vsi trije otroci ustanovitelja s svojimi partnerji. Poleg razvoja je ena ključnih konkurenčnih prednosti Pekarne Pečjak tudi prilagodljivost, saj v pekarstvu hitro prilagajanje postaja vse bolj pomembno.

Pobles, d.o.o.

Zgodba družinskega podjetja Pobles se začne v 90. letih prejšnjega stoletja na lokaciji propadlega cerkniškega lesnega podjetja Brest. Ustanovitelj Branko Petrič je unovčil pogum in izkušnje ter z manjšo ekipo mizarjev začel delati pohištvo po naročilu. Danes je direktor Brankov sin Primož, ki je Pobles vzpostavil kot butičnega izdelovalca unikatnega pohištva višjega cenovnega razreda. Njihova konkurenčna prednost je osebni, celostni pristop. Stranka na enem mestu dobi vse: od idejne zasnove, projektiranja in izdelave do montaže in servisa.

Škerjanc, d. o. o.

Mitja Škerjanc je leta 1993 kot samostojni podjetnik iz garaže začel proizvodnjo gobic z jelenjo kožo in nato hitro nadaljeval s tapeciranjem stolov. Ker je bolj kot v proizvodnji videl priložnost v trgovini, je rešitev našel v lahkem tabureju. Tudi s pomočjo nadvse uspešne prodaje njihovega počivalnika za noge so zrasli v podjetje, ki ponuja celovite rešitve opreme pisarn, bolnišnic, vrtcev, predvsem pa hotelov in gostinskih objektov. Ponujajo stol, mize in vrtno pohištvo različnih materialov ter gostinsko opremo. Izdelke višjega kakovostnega razreda prilagajajo željam kupca.

Tehnos, d. o. o.

V podjetju Tehnos pravijo, da se njihove vrednote skrivajo že v imenu: tehnika, estetika, hitrost, noviteta, odgovornost in strokovnost. Njihova zgodba se je začela z manjšo obrtjo in se do danes razvila v podjetje s 125 zaposlenimi, ki izdeluje mulčerje in druge kmetijske stroje pod lastno blagovno znamko ter komponente za avtomobilsko in elektroindustrijo. Anton in žena Vera imata podjetje za otroka, zaposlene za družino, delo za način življenja. Vse našteto se odraža v njunem odnosu, vzdušju, ki sta ga vzpostavila v podjetju, in njegovi neverjetni rasti.
