Janez Uranič
Country Managing Partner

Janez is the Country Managing Partner of EY Slovenia since 2004. He has over 25 years of experience in the fields of Audit, Transaction Advisory and Advisory. He is leading engagements for Slovenian and international clients in the field of Assurance, Advisory and Transaction Advisory. He has outstanding expertise in SAS (Slovene Accounting Standards), IFRS, capital markets and various transaction services. Janez is specializing in auditing clients in various sectors including banking, capital markets and insurance in Slovenia. Janez is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Chartered accountant with the Slovenian Institute of Auditors.

Sanja Košir Nikašinović
Assurance Services Leader

Sanja is a Partner with EY and Assurance Services leader for Slovenia. She has almost 20 years of experience in audit, transaction advisory, accounting and other services. She specializes in the following industry sectors: industrial markets, consumer markets, retail, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and non-for-profit. Sanja also has broad experience in auditing Central European subsidiaries of large international corporations and in auditing the IFRS financial statements of public interest entities. Sanja is a Certified Auditor, a Member of Slovene Institute of Auditors and an elected member of the Council of Slovene Institute of Auditors.

Matej Kovačič
Tax Services Leader

Matej is a Partner with EY and the Head of Tax Services in Slovenia. He has around 15 years of experience in providing tax and legal advisory services. During his period at EY, he has built extensive experience in advising local and multinational companies on various tax aspects. He is specialized in corporate tax, international tax and transfer pricing across many industries. In 2014 he worked in EY New York office advising multinational companies on investing in Central and East Europe.
