EY wins three MCA awards for outstanding consultancy work, and beats Big Four on awards for projects

EY's Advisory practice took home three awards at last night’s prestigious Management Consultancies Association (MCA) awards. The awards celebrate the very best teams and individual consultants, highlighting outstanding work achieved by the management consulting industry over the last year. 

The three awards have been achieved from a shortlist of eight nominations. This year saw the highest number of shortlisted categories that EY had ever been nominated for by the MCA, and the highest number of award wins for projects of all the Big Four.

EY collected the awards for the following projects:

  • Finance and Risk Management Award for work with Lloyds Banking Group on creating a new finance function for the bank
  • Performance Improvement in the Public Sector Award for work with Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust on assessing the real financial position of the Trust and helping save considerable costs.
  • Social and Environmental Value Award for work on Guidance for Internal Audit, working alongside the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors

"Improving internal audit has been a key area of focus post crisis for The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors. EY was delighted to work, on a pro-bono basis, with the Institute to set the future standards for the industry, and to oversee the creation of an industry-wide consensus for a new code of practice, as required by the regulator, which has been heralded as an unqualified success.
