Segmenting the digital household is the second in a series of findings from EY’s research into household attitudes to connectivity and content. From our research, we identified eight key segments, each one demonstrating a unique combination of traits, whether in terms of attitudes to technology and service provider, consumption of services or interaction with customer support.

Taken together, they underline the diversity of sentiment in today’s digital home. Levels of satisfaction and receptivity vary significantly, underlining the delicate task facing companies that want to build stronger customer relationships.
