Financial Services Tax opportunities

In our Financial Services Tax team, you’ll help create and implement solutions that help financial services organisations reduce tax and commercial risk and meet their tax and other obligations whilst building your career.

What is Financial Services Tax?

The Financial Services Tax team of almost 200 tax and law professionals is part of our broader financial services office (FSO) – a team of over 1000 Australian partners and people providing advice and compliance services to the Australian financial services industry (and part of our large global FSO practice).

We deliver the following specialist sub-service line expertise exclusively to financial services clients that include leading superannuation funds, investment managers, banks, insurers, private equity firms and fintechs.

What you will do depends on the team you join.  For example, in our FSO Global Compliance & Reporting team, you will be responsible for preparing or reviewing tax returns and providing tax advice to clients. In Transactions, you will be part of a team advising on the tax consequences of major transactions in the financial services industry.
