Integrated Mobility student opportunities

In Integrated Mobility, you will have the opportunity to explore two streams of work. You will learn and use a combination of data analytics and tax advisory skills to assist a diverse range of organisations with their employment taxes and payroll obligations, all with the help of our supportive and fast-growing team.

 

What is Integrated Mobility?

If you love problem solving, analytics, working with a wide range of clients and want to move your career into Tax, a career in our Integrated Mobility team is for you. We help organisations with their strategic mobility tax planning and consulting.
 
 

What could you be doing?

You will start off by assisting in both the Employment Taxes stream and the Global Mobility Data Analytics stream. As you progress your career, you can choose to specialise or continue developing in both areas.

Employment Taxes

  • Liaise with clients and other regulatory authorities (e.g., Australian Taxation Office, State Revenue Offices) in the delivery of compliance projects
  • Work on fringe benefits tax, payroll tax and superannuation guarantee compliance and reviews including use of data analytics tools and visualisations
  • Gain experience in employment taxes and global mobility advisory work including research, preparation of advice and attending client meetings
  • Assist assignees with the tax return program delivery and management using our delivery tools and technology

Global Mobility Data Analytics

  • Build analytical models to review client’s payroll data for employment taxes and law obligations
  • Help prepare and present visualisation dashboards internally as well as to clients
  • Develop Alteryx, SQL, Python and other database/coding language skills
  • Improve efficiencies using automation and analytics tools

Your career journey in Integrated Mobility

As a graduate, you’ll be part of our 12-month graduate development program that has been developed for graduates in all service lines, and is focused on connection, learning and celebration.

The program will provide you with the opportunity to network with your peers from other service lines and geographies. Running in parallel to your technical learning, you will develop leadership skills to become a successful graduate, and as you grow as a transformative leader.

As a Integrated Mobility graduate, you’ll take part in:-

  • Hands-on practical and technical training while networking with your peers
  • In-depth Tax technical training to assist with our peak compliance period, including the use of various automation tools and software applications

As a vacationer, after our company induction, you’ll start developing an understanding of how our Integrated Mobility teams work and will be ready to work alongside teams on real client projects. You’ll also meet other new vacationers from your office.

Your buddy and your counsellor will help you learn your way around the organisation, set your goals and plan your development while you’re here. You'll be well looked after with ongoing learning throughout the Vacationer Program with sessions facilitated by our Learning and Development team, Campus Recruitment team and service line specific training. The Vacationer Program is a great way to gain valuable audit experience, skills and networks to start building your career.
